I don’t like riding on camels

When I vsited Petra in Jordan, I was offered the chance to ride on a camel. And, like most of the tourists, I declined the offer. My reluctance to ride on animals like camels goes back to my early youth. I found this photo, of a visit with the family to the zoo, Artis in Amsterdam. Petra Jordan, Jerash, Wadi Rum, Aqaba

After solving my problems with Adobe Premiere, as I reported last week, I have spent quite some time this weekend sorting and editing the video material I shot in Jordan, last september. The results are twofold. First I made the traditional DVD video, with menu, some photo’s included and music and titles. It has become a 35 minute DVD movie and I am sure that will be too long to show to my friends and family. The Last Crusade

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Good movie, fascinating location. Actually, most of the movie is located in Jordan, the location of that temple carved from the rocks  is Petra. Recently elected to be one of the new 7 world wonders. So my second vacation, in september,  this year will be Jordan and Syria.
