Een pracht van een verschrijving!

While I am more into a tropical mood, Indonsia is getting close, this morning Weesp is surprised with snow.

Such a nice day! Made the usual trip on the bike from Weesp to Muiden and back today. Along the river Vecht. And I took my Canon 1000D with me, including the telelens.

Friday april 10. On my way home, a fool ignored the red light, instead accelerated to make it on time. But alas, my light already had turned green, I had started driving and my poor car was in his way. Bang. He hit me on the right back side. The car made a 180 degrees spin. The car is severely damaged as you can see. I was allright myself, even not very excited or mad, just happy to be alive.

His car was also quite damaged, and he is in trouble since he confessed his stupid action to the police. The police and towing company helped us clean up the mess. I do hope the police also will give him a good ticket for ignoring the light and speeding.

So a new car is required. Amazing how fast that went, major amount of money spent in an hour.

The new one is a Mitshubishi Colt, Small, affordable, very ecenomical, quite environment friendly. Nice blueish color. Good audio system! Will have it in a week!

Not as cold as January and February, and the first signs of spring are visible.

Het komt zelden voor dat de Vecht bij Weesp bevriest. En dit jaar is het weer zover.
Al is het koud, ik ben er op uitgegaan met camera’s op de fiets. Hier wat foto’s en een video fragment.
De foto’s zijn met de nieuwe 1000D Canon DSLR, zowel met standaard objectief als het EF-S5 IS 55-250mm IS objectief.

Met de video camera op stap langs de Vecht.

De camera nu maar niet uit de losse pols gebruikt maar met een eenbeens statief. En dat helpt.

Youtube maakt er helaas matige kwaliteit van, een alternatief is 123video.com.
